Many people suppose that a person has the character from the birth and nothing can change it. In some way it is true, and when everything is all right, nothing troubles a person and nobody attacks him/her, there is no need to change the character. But there are some situations which demand the demonstration of strong will-power, when a person has to mould the character.
Some people have such a disgust feature as to give orders, to require, and they do it with pleasure without any choice of their conscience. So we should find strength to resist such insolent fellows. I’m sure it is possible, and we can manage with them. But there is one special point. People who like to dominate don’t choose persons with strong willpower, moreover, they avoid such individuals and find victims, who can’t say "No", who may put down the head and fulfill all their demands. Those ones, whose character isn’t moulded. They use them like a thing, like a doll or something similar to it. Aggressors receive satisfaction feeling their superiority before their victims. And the worst thing is that they don’t know the ”end”, and only some circumstances may stop them. But what for have people to rely on circumstances? If you want to do in a good way – do yourself. At such rate, character training is necessary point in people’s life. First of all, we should have the goal, set the task and then find ways to realize it, to reach our goal. There are many various ways of character training. A person should become harsher and resist the attacks. One of the ways to realize it is going in for sports. Besides, sport activities, you also meet a coach who always gives you a piece of advice, support and helps you. I doesn’t matter what kind of sport you choose. It may be athletics or football, hockey or tennis, and, of cause, you may choose something more effective, for example, martial arts.
Attend your trainings regularly. Speaking to sportsmen with great experience, looking at them, you’ll start to mould your character. You’ll have examples of people with strong will-power, with convinced in their strength and not only because of physical abilities that are also important, but because of their moral state. Psychological aspect isn’t less important than physical strength. At every sort club each coach and other sportsmen pay attention to psychological aspect. First , they help a person to believe in him/herself, to forget that he/she is a victim and to change the attitude top life. A person becomes stronger in the internal life. Sport makes people to look at the world with other eyes. Eyes, which are confident and strict, eyes which don’t forgive offence, eyes full of strength, without fear.
Besides in the sport club a person finds new fellows with whom he/she may spend time after trainings. It is a new company that gives only benefit, improves life of everybody.
No doubt, it is difficult to go in for sport, especially to start. But it is more difficult to be a victim and to suffer from offence. So, to make a step forward to character training and feel how to be a Man is important and sometimes eve obligatory.
Certainly, not only sport can help a person to mould a character. Every problem which we solve ourselves may do it. In situation when somebody attacks us, tries to make do something good for him, but bad for us and we refuse, resist him, we mould our character. Even ordinary words like “disagree”, “no”, “refuse” or “it is what I need”, etc help us to mould our character.
So, character training isn’t an easy way, but this way leads to better, independent life and shows the world from that side which was unknown before. Open it to yourself, be courageous. I’m sure, you’ll succeed.
